More email technicalities
An update from this post.
Let all be warned: Enigmail doesn't work if you have the Allow Empty Subject extension installed. Why? I have no idea. It just doesn't. Enigmail does include an option to provide the same functionality, so once you know about it, it's not a problem. I, however, did not know about it.
Now I have Enigmail working, and it provides OpenPGP security for my email, and that is Good; and my PGP signature is available here. However, Enigmail cannot sign email in HTML format, and some people do use HTML email. What puzzles me is that Evolution can do this, and does it without any issues whatsoever, and Thunderbird/Enigmail can subsequently read the email just fine. On the other hand, Evolution still can't do LDAP over a secure connection.
Light-shedding is welcome. Otherwise, be warned.
